Vases and flowerpots
A vase full of fresh flowers or a flowerpot make any house happier and contribute to the tasteful decoration of the decor. It is only a question of choice. The sober color of the pewter mixed with the vivacious colors of flowers will create a delightful combination, difficult to be matched by any other vase or flowerpot.
Theriaca Magna Andromachi Seniores
A large vase for Theriaca, a medicine originating from the pharmacy of the College of Jesuits in Toulouse. Theriaca was one of the most ancient medicines presumed to have been invented by Andromacus from Crete, the personal physician of the Emperor Nero.
Often modified over the years, in the 18th century Theriaca was still composed by 72 drugs, among which: myrrh, gentian, cinnamon, juniper, black pepper, lemon, anise, valerian, pure opium, liquorice, Narbonne honey, three quarters of wine from Spain and viper tail.
Theriaca was used against all sorts of diseases, in particular against violent coughs, infectious diseases and malignant fevers.
Using the ingenious techniques of the old pewter masters and thanks to our patient and accurate work, we are able to produce a few copies of this precious vase, hardly distinguishable from the original piece.
